Education
B.S. in Molecular biology from the University of the South: Sewanee (2019)
Ph.D. in Neuroscience from University of Kentucky (2024)
Wu Tsai Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale (2nd year)
Research Background and Interests
I’m interested in C. elegans neurogenetics and super-resolution microscopy techniques. My current focus is in axon degeneration.
Work in the Bewersdorf Lab
I have been working on incorporating the PanExM protocol in C. elegans. My aim is to use this new method for studying neuronal health.
Outside the lab
I used to be able to play 10 different instruments (not at the same time). Now, I like sewing and annoying my pet frogs.
